DONATE STOCK OR SECURITIES
Donating appreciated stock or securities is simple and may provide a tax advantage. Contact McKenna Chenette at mckennac@namm.org to initiate a transfer.
DONOR-ADVISED FUNDS
A donor-advised fund (DAF) lets you make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax benefit, and recommend grants over time.
When recommending a grant, use the NAMM Foundation’s EIN, 33-0797657, and note that the gift supports the Museum of Making Music.
IRA DISTRIBUTIONS
If you’re 70½ or older, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA to the Museum of Making Music. Consult your financial advisor or contact us to learn more.
