Homeschool Days
Planning Your Visit
We offer Homeschool Days three times during the school year. Because all three dates cover the same curriculum, choose whichever fits your schedule. Please register in advance, since space is limited.
Cost is $8 per student and $12 per adult. In addition, we ask for one adult chaperone for every five children. We can issue refunds up to two weeks before the event.

What Happens on a Homeschool Day
Each Homeschool Day runs as a facilitated program rather than a self-guided visit. Our trained facilitators lead activities built around the themes in our galleries, so students explore how instruments work, how sound is made, and how music connects to history and culture.
Activities are hands-on throughout. Students handle instruments, try out techniques, and work through guided challenges in small groups. The program suits a wide age range, and facilitators adapt as needed for the mix of students present.
Families also have time to explore the core galleries on their own, where every gallery includes instruments students can touch and play.
