Working at the Museum of Making Music
The Museum of Making Music is a small team with a wide reach. Staff here tend to wear several hats, and the work spans visitor experience, education, exhibitions, collections, and events. If you are drawn to hands-on museum work and to music, it is a good place to land.
The museum is a program of the NAMM Foundation and is located in Carlsbad, California.
Other Ways to Get Involved
Even when we are not hiring, there are ways to join the museum community. Our volunteers greet visitors, lead gallery experiences, support concerts and events, and help behind the scenes. It is the best way to get to know the museum from the inside, and many of our volunteers have been with us for years.
