Concert Series
Our concert series takes place in one of North County San Diego’s most intimate settings. The room seats just 150 guests, so you are never far from the stage. Throughout the year we present a wide range of genres and styles. Some artists are local favorites. Others are nationally and internationally recognized. All of them are chosen for their artistry and their ability to connect with a room.
Our performers do more than play. They share their stories, their craft, and their passion. As a result, every evening becomes a chance to learn something new about an artist, a genre, an instrument, or the creative process itself.

Community Days
The Museum also hosts Community Days throughout the year. These quarterly events invite visitors of all ages to try music making in hands-on ways. Each one is different, though most include performances, demonstrations, and interactive activities.
Make Music Day on June 21 is our most anticipated. It began in France as the Fête de la Musique and has since spread around the world. On that day, communities everywhere celebrate music through free performances and spontaneous musical moments.
Exhibition Openings
Exhibition openings offer another way to engage with the Museum. These evenings give you a first look at new exhibitions. Better still, you hear directly from the artists, collectors, historians, and musicians behind the stories on display.
Most openings also include live music and conversation. As a result, they tend to be equal parts discovery and community gathering.

Special Events
The Museum also embraces the unexpected. Special events may include workshops, guest lectures, artist talks, book signings, film screenings, or collaborative community programs. These events let us respond to new ideas and celebrate timely moments in music and culture. In short, they create fresh opportunities for connection, creativity, and learning.
