    Ed's Hal Leonard published catalog includes the World Beat Rhythms Series for Brazil, Africa, Cuba & USA as coauthor, and as sole author, Drummers Guide to Odd Meters, Blues Drumming, Funk & Hip Hop Drumming, Rock Drumming Workbook and Drum Dictionary. He served as a core curriculum author and educator for 36 years at the Musician's Institute in Hollywood, CA. He has presented concerts, clinics, workshops, master classes and/or music camps at NYU, The Grammy Museum, PASIC, MoMM/NAMM, IAJE, TMEA and at Berklee School of Music and continues to do so at universities and schools across the country. He has performed and composed music for records, jingles, TV shows and films including Fox Sports, Mostly Ghostly, Saturday Night Live, The 60's, Knight Rider, WWE and Santa Barbara. Ed has worked with artists such as Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock and Joe Sample. He endorses DW, PDP, LP, IP, Remo, Paiste, Shure & Direct Sound.
