Event Details

Join us for an evening of music with Nancy Sanchez and Las Chorizeras.

Nancy Sanchez is a Mexican-American songwriter and performer, and is an award-winning vocalist. Born in Toluca, Mexico, Nancy made her home in the United States as a young girl. Her music is a reflection of two cultures and infuses elements of Mexican folkloric, Latin alternative, pop, and jazz.

“As a child I listened to music by Los Lobos, Richie Valens, Linda Ronstadt, Lalo Guerrero, Los Bukis, Juan Gabriel, and many more. All of these influences exposed Nancy to the possibilities of songs centered on the Mexican American experience.

She has been a featured guest on national broadcast television and has performed alongside Los Lobos and Ozomatli.  Her appearances include the Latin GRAMMY Awards, Hollywood Bowl, and El Capitan Theater. Her music has been placed on shows and platforms that appear on HBO, Starz, FX, Nickelodeon, and EA.
